Scituate Dog Park offers a large, mostly fenced area where dogs can play and run freely. The park features a combined play area for dogs of all sizes, with no separate small dog area yet built. It has benches for seating and a walking path around the perimeter for owners to enjoy. Water is accessible via an outdoor spigot, although the bubbler pipes are currently out of order. The park is wheelchair accessible and provides ample parking. There is limited shade with only a few trees providing cover on one side. The park is well-used by the community but has had some concerns about aggressive dogs off-leash.

PLEASE DONT GO HERE! DANGEROUS! Something needs to happen at this park or a puppy or dog is going to get seriously hurt. An aggressive dog should NOT be off a leash. We were there for 5 min and our 2 year old french bulldog was bullied by a dog the was clearly aggressive when they walked in. The dog ran so fast up to our dog I grabbed her just in time. The owner was smart and left. Then another dog came in and was fine. Until we walked by the dog in the walk way. That dog preceeded to jump on our dog. Why are they allowed in there? We left! The people who are minding their business with a dog behaving needed to leave. It’s disturbing!
PLEASE DON’T GO HERE!

Plenty of open area for dogs to run around& play. There’s somewhat of a walking path, like packed dirt path, around the circumference of the dog park itself. Good for the dog owners to get some exercise, while the dog does too! There are hundreds of tennis balls provided by the park. They are spread out over the ground of the park &a bag near the entrance, holds hundreds more. They’re there for anyone to use. There’s also benches to sit on while you watch your dog play & make friends. For ppl with smaller dogs though- please note, that there is not a separate area for little dogs at this particular park. Small or large, all dogs play together! Prime location to stop for some salt water air, on your way back home!

Plenty of space to run, a bench or two, and blue sky.

I love dog parks, because I am fragile, and I don’t appreciate when people do not leash their dogs on public trails or in public parks or campgrounds.

Whenever I see a dog park I try to stop and write a review of it so it gets attention and doggos run free HERE and not in places where jumping up could dislocate a hip like mine.

Plenty of parking.

There’s even a long, paved walking trail alongside the lake that extends throughout much of the town.

Large, fenced space, mostly mulch, although worn away in some spots to become muddy in rain.
No shade at all, other than a few trees on the far side.
Pipes to the bubbler burst over the winter, so water access is from a spigot/hose outside the fence.
Small dog side has not yet been built.
Wind farm windmill is next to the park, which has an underlying hum at all times.
