The area is clean, beautifully maintained, and provides scenic river views that make every visit enjoyable.
Beyond its exceptional dog park amenities, Hudson Crossing Park is renowned for its pet-friendly trails, picnic spaces, playground, and historic canal locks. The park’s well-marked walking paths provide ample opportunity for dog-friendly hiking and riverside strolls. It’s easy to spend a few hours here, whether you’re exploring nature, letting your dog run free, or bringing the whole family for a picnic.
Nice park with options for short walks or longer hikes. Beautiful views of the Hudson River. At the northern point of the island (Eagle Point), there is an excellent view of the L-shaped dam that allows boats to safely travel along the canal side of the island. There is a canal lock at the site that is fun to watch boats pass through. Great place for a picnic. There is also a playground garden with swings and slides that are incorporated into the natural topography. It’s a great place to spend a few hours.

A wonderful place to walk along the Hudson and listen to the birds. Walk across the wooden bridge spanning the Hudson. Then take the tow path walk across from the Locks. Enjoy!!

Beautiful place to go spend some time outside, biking paths, trails to walk, view of the Hudson, great fishing. There’s an area to hold events. Very large property and volunteers are working hard to keep everything spiffy. You can learn some about the boats, railroads, and trollies that passed here from large placards along the pathways. Nice for picnics, new benches to sit and watch the world go by.

We love coming to this park. We start in the parking lot and enjoy each stop along the way from the bridge to walking down to the water. We end by the slides and run around one more time before leaving. All my children enjoy coming here.

Beautiful park. Clean. Great walking paths. Went for the Doggy Easter Egg Hunt. The volunteers did a great job keeping the park full of eggs for all the dogs. It’s always a pleasure to visit this park and walk along that part of the Hudson.
