It is an absolutely beautiful pond. The sloping hillside farms in the area along with the blooming pink lily’s among the lilypads. Down the hill behind the ponds is a small creek that flows with a calming soothing sound.

Good for some quick “outdoor time”, alone or with a friend. Nice spot to view local wildlife. They used to have a least one picnic table on-site which was nice for an outdoor lunch. It’s not there anymore but there are several benches located around the pond. Hope they consider putting in a few tables. There is a well kept, but really short, walking trail around the pond. A port-a-potty is located on-site but I’m not sure if that’s there year round.

A decent sized pond. There’s better places in the area to get into nature. Lots of algae in the summer so it’s almost impossible to fish. I caught a few bass here. Good for younger kids to learn.

This is a lovely lil park to go for a walk and enjoy nature. There is ample parking, it’s clean and well tended to. Most folks seem to come here for fishing, I just go to get outdoors and bird watch.

In spring, you can see a large variety of birds from warblers to swallows, heron, red wing blackbird, various ducks and more. There are two looping paths, a figure 8 around the ponds. A meadow to the right under a powerline cut gives a nice view for birdwatching as well.

Nearby, the Trexler Nature Preserve and Lehigh Valley Zoo are other spots if you’d like to make a full day outside in nature.
