Located just steps from the train station at 4555 Ruby St, Schiller Park “Bark” Park offers a spacious and welcoming environment for dogs of all sizes. This dog park in Schiller Park, Illinois, features a blend of turf and natural grass, giving pups plenty of room to run, play, and socialize. With a variety of amenities including multiple benches and picnic tables, a water fountain (available in warmer months), and agility equipment, it’s a local favorite for pet owners seeking a safe off-leash experience close to downtown.
The park is fully fenced for your peace of mind, though it has single gates at the entrances. Regular visitors love the friendly community, the clean grounds, and the opportunity for dogs to enjoy sunbathing or a quick romp. While the park can get busy during peak times, you’ll often find a tranquil atmosphere, especially on quieter days. Shade from the trees and ample seating make it comfortable for both dogs and owners alike. Whether you’re a neighborhood resident or just visiting, Schiller Park “Bark” Park is a fantastic, dog-friendly spot for fun and relaxation.
A great amount of space for my favorite pitbull of ALL TIME❣️Also, enough space for other 🐶’s too of course. 🤾♂️🎾 🏞️🌤️#pitbullM0M4life
It is clean. There is turf and grass. They have 3 pieces of agility course equipment as well as a water fountain. There are picnic benches for people to sit and they’re in good shape.
Small, doesn’t have much going on for the dogs more tables and benches for the people then space for the dogs, I will say they have a dog water fountain which is very nice but it’s location is also really easy to miss, it has turf and grass but neither was well maintained when I was there. If you have a small to medium size dog this could be well and good, but my 70Ib dog had gone over the whole thing meticulously with her nose in 5/10 minutes tops
I’ve been going to Bark Park for the last 3 years. Located in a good area near the train station. Very nice place it could get busy sometimes with 10 to 15 dogs, and sometimes you’ll be the only one there it depends on the time of the day and the weather too. Great spot for Lily to sun bath.
Right next to the train station; it’s easy to miss. It’s small but perfect for a neighborhood dog park. There is both turf and natural grass areas, as well as a water fountain (but it’s off when it’s cold, bring water). There are a few benches and they provide bags to collect poop if you forgot yours.
