Having gone to Jorgens Park since my childhood, I can confidently call it timeless. This hidden gem is one of the best parks in central Wisconsin. I look forward to every day spent here! It’s a great place to take pictures, go on the story walk, or just enjoy Silver Lake.

Peaceful & lots to do !
Such a nice well thought out Nature Preserve. Every year you can see the progress. A great way to observe the pretty nature surrounding our area.
You can fish here on Silver Lake I saw people fishing on the dock and on a row boat in the lake. There is a big covered patio area with numerous picnic tables for gatherings and they have interesting hiking trails with information along the way on the habitat and plants that live there.
One of the trails features a BOOK and with the story (pages) spread out along the trail to read – so cool for children.
Don’t forget to see the Eagles Nest high into the sky by the lake…we saw a massive eagle land on it during our visit.

Beautiful lake (called Silver Lake) with trails going into the forest and around the lake. There is a porta-potty next to the parking lot. The hiking path is well-mowed and easy to find. The big red barn and red silo is right next to the parking lot. Very clean and beautiful park!
