Such a nice well thought out Nature Preserve. Every year you can see the progress. A great way to observe the pretty nature surrounding our area.
You can fish here on Silver Lake I saw people fishing on the dock and on a row boat in the lake. There is a big covered patio area with numerous picnic tables for gatherings and they have interesting hiking trails with information along the way on the habitat and plants that live there.
One of the trails features a BOOK and with the story (pages) spread out along the trail to read – so cool for children.
Don’t forget to see the Eagles Nest high into the sky by the lake…we saw a massive eagle land on it during our visit.
