Northshore Dog Park is a small, fully fenced area in Saratoga Springs, Utah, that offers local dog owners a convenient spot for their furry friends to enjoy some off-leash time. The park is best described as a simple, dirt-based dog park with a 4-foot tall fence, making it suitable for quick play sessions and meetups. There are separate enclosures for large and small dogs, allowing your pets to socialize with others of similar size safely.
While there are no frills—such as shade, grass, or agility equipment—Northshore Dog Park provides the basics for dog owners looking for a secure, off-leash environment. The grounds can get muddy and may flood during rainy weather, and visitors have noted that the park is prone to spiders during the summer months. Despite its humble amenities, it’s a free and easily accessible dog park for Saratoga Springs residents. Families with kids can take advantage of nearby playgrounds and open playfields, adding to the park’s value as a community spot.
We’ve lived here going on 2 years now and have 2 pups so we use the park several times a day and the only couple things I have to say negatively is the parks totally flood when it rains and stays flooded until they let really have someone come out to pump out the water because the drainage here is so bad. Secondly, the spiders in the summer at this park are absolutely outrageous! You come to the park once it’s even remotely dark and the spiders are absolutely EVERYWHERE and are massive! Honestly, I am so shocked they don’t spray for spiders here. Other than those two things this park is great! There is one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs.
