I was at the playground. Plenty for the littles to do. Great for all ages. Well maintained and nice scenery.

Nathan Benderson Park is a runner’s paradise! I usually run about 5 miles here, which takes me around 45 minutes at a comfortable pace, and every minute is a joy. The trails are beautifully maintained, wide, and offer scenic views of the water, making each mile feel refreshing and enjoyable. I love how the paths loop around the lake, giving you varied scenery and plenty of space to settle into your rhythm without interruption.
The park’s layout is excellent for both beginners and seasoned runners, with clear mile markers and a smooth, flat surface that’s easy on the joints. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s a great spot for meeting other outdoor enthusiasts, with ample room for everyone. The peaceful surroundings make it easy to zone out and focus on the run, adding a calmness that’s hard to find in most running spots.
Whether you’re training for a race or simply out for a leisurely jog, Benderson Park is the perfect setting. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to run and wants a beautiful, well-kept place to do it!

What a beautiful park! It really is a world class facility. Entrance is free and the parking is free. Seems to always be something fun going on. We’ve seen dragon boat races, sculling races, triathlons, walk a thons, Lipizzaner Stallion show; just to name a few. It is a great place to get some fresh air and exercise. Walking, biking or rollerblading around the water is beautiful!
