There’s a ton to see and do here. Whether you are eating lunch, biking running or just exploring Santa Monica it is worth a stop. There’s a large community of California ground squirrels that are fairly tame that will approach you with caution for a hopeful treat (hopefully no fried or salty foods 🤞) great place to bring kids, family, friends or a low key date. Lots of bars and amazing restaurants nearby. To mention a couple, Water Grill Blue Plate Oysterette amd Blue Plate Taco.. Ample restrooms and drinking fountains. Parking is ample but it’s a crowded area (lots of parking spot turnover so just drive around till one opens up). 5 stars.

A really nice area to park your car. It costs NULL.50 per hour comparing to other parking spaces nearby which are more expensive. You also get to see the beautiful view from the top towards Santa Monica pier which is breathtaking

A very nice area to get a long walk, run, jog in with ocean breezes. I was pleased how well maintained the area is. There a number of benches along the way to sit and take in ocean views, people, and best of all some very friendly squirrels.

The only drawback are the expensive parking meters that are hard for short people to manage. There is parking across the street, for free, but finding spaces is difficult. And you have to cross a very busy Ocean Avenue as well.

Palisades Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It sits high above the ocean on a long stretch of Ocean Avenue, giving amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal mountains. The palm trees and fresh coastal vibe make it perfect for taking photos and relaxing. Sunset is the best time to go, the sky looks magical! Many people enjoy picnics on the grass or jogging along the path. It’s also just a short walk from Third Street Promenade, which is a nice bonus. A great spot to unwind and enjoy nature in Santa Monica!
