Funny to review a park but we have really loved gathering here, riding bikes, meeting friends, playing tennis, soccer, frisbee…. It’s a beautiful place and easy to navigate. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their favorite activities.

This park is great! I’ve been coming here with my kids for years. So helpful to have the restroom nearby and covers for some of the playground equipment. I also appreciate that this park is clean and well cared for.

Nice little park in the middle of town. Lots of parking on both sides, tennis courts, play area for children, picnic area, and access to paseos and bike trails. The bathrooms are always clean and overall it’s a great place to stop and relax for a few.

Update 2024

The bikes haven’t been at the park in a few years now.
The park is lively. Very well maintained. I like the paseo path. You can go on short or long walks/runs or bike rides.
The park has two fields for soccer that get maintained regularly by the city.

Friendly, clean and bike rentals are available .. park is next to some great trails.

Update: the bike rentals are no longer available. They were removed at the beginning of the pandemic as they kept getting vandalized.

The park is still great with nice running and biking paths. I don’t recommend walking into the wash trail paths at night as some folk like to sleep there and drink.

I never see anyone there during the day.

Dreary, rainy winter of ’23 and the photos/videos reflect it. Ok, this one. I can’t say why with specificity but I’m simply unimpressed. I think, maybe, I’m becoming jaded by the volume of Parks in the SCV. There’s nothing glaringly wrong with Heritage. Here’s the good. Easy access to the San Francisquito Trail Paseo. It also has three well maintained tennis courts. Bathrooms are clean. There are two large fields for running around. Pavilion and numerous benches throughout the park. Charcoal grills. So, it’s not a bad park. It is however right along Newhall Ranch Road, one of the busiest roads in Santa Clarita. Onr entrance and parking lot is off Newhall. Another is at the intersection of Fairview and McBean Pkwy, another very busy road. You can see some scenery but it’s not the most picturesque park in the inventory. I gave it 4 stars mostly for the paseo access and tennis courts. It’s really a 3+ star park so I rounded up.
