There are aggressive dogs there every morning that don’t listen to the owners. It’s run by some big dumb bullies that haven’t trained their dogs. Ghost is a white Shepard mix that brutally attacks new dogs that come into the park. My 20lb dog was bitten by him and no one cares. The men verbally attack guests trying to enjoy the park. It was a frightening experience
Animal control does nothing.

Open sand/dirt/rock dog park. There are two areas, one for all dogs and another just for those small puppers. Could use more shade when it is busy, only complaint on my end.

The ground is predominately sand and dirt but there are some spots with a several small pebbles and what not. There is plenty of room for dogs to run around.

At the park there are a couple of trees which provide some shade, not enough for probably 4 groups of people and their dogs. People have provided some plastic chairs for people to sit in (some are deteriorated and some are newer). Lastly, there are dog poop bags provided, a shovel so you can just scoop and dump into the trash can to forego using the plastic bags, and a water station in each of the spaces. Water is on tap and the bowl is provided. When emptying the water bowl of water and dirt there is a drain which is great because then the doggoes aren’t running through mud.

I recommend bringing a light detergent or water-like spray and a towel if your dogs lie down often as the dirt is fine and can be tracked into your vehicle.

Beware of rattle snakes! There are signs posted before you enter either area. I recommend doing a quick sweep of the area before letting your dogs run around, especially in those shaded spots to make sure there aren’t any rattle snakes.
