Discover Sandy Bluff Park and Dog Park, a spacious and fully fenced destination for dog owners and families in Sandy, OR. This dog park offers an open, grassy area for your pup to play with other dogs off-leash, pet-friendly trails for leisurely walks, and a playground nearby for children. The double-gated entrance provides added peace of mind when entering or leaving with your dog, and an abundance of seating—including benches, steps, and a covered picnic table—accommodate guests who want to relax and soak up the local atmosphere.
What makes this dog park unique is its scenic walking paths around the dog area, plus the proximity to a pond for peaceful strolls. While the park is known for its amenities, please note that multiple reviews have mentioned dog waste issues and the need for more frequent clean-up. Dog owners should be vigilant about picking up after their pets to help maintain a clean environment. Additionally, there have been reports of potential health concerns such as parvo, so regular vaccinations are recommended for all pets visiting local parks like this one.

Sandy Bluff Park and Dog Park
– This park has the potential to be a nice one, but the poop everywhere is absolutely disgusting. We didn’t walk to the other half of the park and left. We will not visit again.
PROS:
-Covered picnic table to sit at
-Bench, steps to sit on (if you dare with the amount of poop everywhere)
-Double gated with a lot of great information posted!
-Very open
-Grassy
-Walking paths around the dog park area with a pond
CONS:
-No poo stations throughout
-TONS of poop not picked up. Not usually something we comment on because there’s always going to be maybe a pile or two way out every now and then, but literally EVERYWHERE. Disgusting.
-Only one area for water, and honestly didn’t go that far because of the abundance of poop, so unsure if there was a spigot or anything
NEUTRALS:
-Fully fenced
-Playground right there

In march I took my 4 dogs to the sandy bluff dog park for the first time. The park was the only new place my dogs had been. Less than a week later one of my puppies became very sick, the vet confirmed it was parvo. Thankfully we caught it early enough and were were willing to pay the NULL for the needed meds. A few days later he was almost back to normal when my youngest puppy started showing symptoms. It took her much longer to recover and she almost didn’t make it. I’m writing this to let you know that at least the smaller fenced in area at the sandy bluff dog park is infected with parvo. Hopefully parks and recreation will take the necessary precautions to handle this situation so no other dogs get sick or possibly worse.
