Tucked away in a peaceful forested area, Mannsville Community Park is a hidden gem for locals and visitors alike. I snapped this photo while walking through the leaf-covered trails—it truly captures the quiet charm of the park. The air was fresh, the woods were vibrant with fall color, and all I could hear were the sounds of nature. It’s not a big park, but it offers the kind of tranquility that’s hard to find these days. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through or just want a serene walk in the trees.

Go to spot in Sandy Creek / Lacona to bring my dog, they have a large fenced in baseball field, bring a ball to play fetch. Outhouses along with trails to hike. A small stream with bridge. Not too much traffic, usually just me and my dog to the big park. Lots of things to adventure 😊
