We recently took our kids to Taylor Farm Park, and we had an amazing time! This huge park features an incredible skate and bike park with plenty of trails for the kids to zoom around. One of our favorite spots was the mini water park, complete with a man-made creek surrounded by swings, slides, and jungle gyms. My kids had a blast playing in the water and climbing on the equipment, making it the perfect way to cool off on a sunny day.
As a parent, I truly appreciated the numerous benches in the shade, allowing us to relax while keeping an eye on kids. The park is exceptionally clean, and the well-maintained bathrooms. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out!
Absolutely fantastic park for little kids up to big ones, 12+. Clean. We’ll maintained. Covered area to eat. 3 splash/ water areas including a long stream creek area!
We went twice to this place and it was really good playground with lots of options for kids to play . They have zip line , bird house slides . Water springs, rope ways . It’s a fun place to be there . There is also skateboard ground near by as well . There are nice restrooms available as well . All age kids can enjoy this place . Definitely recommended
This park is amazing. There are so many things to climb. The only drawback I could find was little shade. There were only two swings that I saw. But there are so many cool slides climbing ropes zip lines. Tree houses as well. There is a river area running through it that is dry now (mid September). I was told the splash pad and river will be on in May. It was so much fun even without those. My son is 7 and he had a blast. They also have a skate park on the other side of the parking lot. It looked nice too rather large. There was a food truck in the parking lot with ice cream and pretzels and drinks. The bathrooms were new and clean. A lady there told me the splash pad had just closed September 15th so that was pretty awesome. Most places like that in Virginia are only open Memorial Day to Labor Day. This was about a forty minute drive from where I live but it was totally worth it. My son spent about two hours exploring the entire place. It was a bit crowded when we went but I think that’s typical for a new park. Plus there is such a large area to play in even with a lot of people there you don’t feel boxed in. They had 3 different zip lines as well. I can’t say enough about this place. My only complaint would be lack of shade as I have a child that hates sunscreen but if you go on a cloudy day it’s awesome. Update~went back first week of May water is on in the lazy river. It’s not too cold either. My son loves it. I forgot to mention they have several musical instruments kids can play even drums. Lots of benches to sit at and they have a walking trail as well.
Fantastic park with lots to do for all ages and ability levels. Pack a picnic, as there are no food options on site, and remember sunscreen. There’s not as much shade as one might hope. There’s some! But we also were in the sun a lot. A lot of the play areas are in full sun. Great water play options, zipline, large play areas with slides, lots to climb, etc.
