A very nice small park managed by the city of San Jose. it is dedicated to an early apricot and prune grower in Santa Clara who also owned one of the first wineries in Los Gatos. He died of typhoid fever leaving behind 4 small children who eventually all left valuable enduring legacies in the valley.
Be aware of homeless, many reside there. What a pity…such a beautiful trail besides the lake.
Nice small park that we let our dog run for the ball or frisby
Lots of free street parking. Nice greenery, shade, benches for rest. Merges with the trail behuind it. The trail can be rounded for a short walk or continue on the Guadalupe trail that reaches Almaden Lake park.People bike, walk, run. Mornings less crowded and evening, more people and kids.In close proximity to residential areas.
Small park but it’s clean and has a trail that can go all the way to Alamden Lake/Los Alamitos trail or guadalupe river trail. there’s no dedicated parking lot but usually fhe surrounding streets has spots.
