Raleigh Linear Park – Dog Park in San Jose, California

Raleigh Linear Park is a neighborhood dog park located in South San Jose, California. While the dog park area is on the smaller side, it offers pet owners a local spot to socialize their dogs and enjoy the park’s amenities, such as basketball courts and picnic seating. The dog park is reportedly well maintained, with a friendly community atmosphere for both small and large dogs.

However, potential visitors should be aware of several noted drawbacks. Parking is extremely limited, and many reviews mention that there is no nearby designated parking and no safe crosswalk. The dog park has little to no shade, so it can get very hot during summer months, and there is no water fountain specifically for dogs. Seating options include benches and a picnic table, but there are also mentions of issues with ants and uncomfortable turf for sensitive dog paws. Despite these challenges, Raleigh Linear Park is valued for its peaceful atmosphere and serves as a valuable green space for local dog owners seeking an accessible, off-leash experience.

Small but comes with balls. If your dog likes to drift when trying to get a ball please be careful of the turf, this ended up hurting my dogs paws

A small dog park but is pretty well maintained. It has decent amount of seating and a picnic table. No shade though, so summer time would be a torture.

Great park for anyone looking to play basketball, or go for a walk. 2 full courts, and some workout equipment on one end.

No parking, none, zero. Tow away, fast moving traffic street, with NO crosswalk to get across to the park, not a spec of shade for dog or human, surrounded by dead dry grass, weeds & foliage, No dog drinking fountain,…at the “dog park”…who TF designed/ put a dog park here? Brand new park already trashed and vandalized by the subsidized housing recipients.? Where is aoc to take weeping photo ops next to the fence in the scorching sun. We’re out. Did I mention the smell,💩⚠️☢🚾 I see a few other reviews do.💩🕳
