Piedmont Road Dog Park in San Jose, California

Piedmont Road Dog Park is a recently built, pet-friendly oasis located in North San Jose, perfect for local dog owners searching for a fenced dog park in the Bay Area. Featuring a spacious enclosure, this dog park offers a safe environment where pets can enjoy some off-leash play, as praised by visitors coming from nearby neighborhoods like Milpitas. It’s a convenient spot for meeting fellow dog lovers and letting your pup release some energy.

While the park is beautifully constructed and generally well-liked by dog owners, it’s important to note a few things before your visit: the fenced area has relatively low fencing, so make sure your dog is well-supervised, especially if reactive or jump-prone. Poop bags are not supplied, so please remember to bring your own for clean-up. Visitors report friendly, responsible owners frequent the park, but as with any public space, be mindful of your pup’s vaccinations and always keep an eye on your dog during play. Piedmont Road Dog Park is a great choice if you’re looking for dog-friendly activities and outdoor socialization in San Jose!
