On a Thursday in August, I needed to get from Mountain View to San Jose by 6pm, which would have been a traffic-induced nightmare, so decided to go early, sit in this park for a couple of hours, and read a book there. Good choice! The park is nice, open, green, with good views. There’s an area with benches under a green canopy, which felt a bit cooler temperature-wise. Saw lots of families with kids walk by and get on the slides and swings in the play area. There are restrooms for public use as well. Parking along the bordering streets was easy to find.

Recently, I had a picnic here with a friend which we sat on the hill the view was great, the environment was clean, and there were bathrooms. I believe theres a dog park nearby and a playground so it’s definitely family oriented. If you want a decent spot to see the sunset here’s one.

25.5 acre park with BBQ pits, bathrooms, and a big field. Decent amount of shade and picnic tables. Beautiful views of the Santa Teresa hills to the south. This park is tucked away in a neighborhood. Plenty of street parking along Andsell Way.Hours are actually sunrise to 1 hour after sunset.

Have been to the park a couple of times for a picnic from our community. Love the park for all the readily available amenities. The shady area and the benches are a plus point. The fields and the play area for the kids are great. The restrooms are pretty okay to use (though not the best). Was fun to be here while the grass was just here. Gets pretty crowded during the evenings.
