Nice park. I think it’s been cleaned up a lot in the last couple years.

This park has a lot of potential but it is too often dirty and unsafe. I go a few times per week to use the exercise equipment. This week, an aggressive man came over unprovoked and tried bullying me away from the equipment by ordering me around and threatening me. I wish more families and friendly people in San Jose would fill this space instead of vagrants, drug users, and angry people suffering from mental illness. This park has a nice playground, spacious grassy areas, and many shady trees. It’s going to take the whole city, and perhaps an act of God, to transform St. James park into the safe and peaceful neighborhood park that it should be! I have hope!

Walking around here on a Sunday. This park is literally 100% populated by homeless people. Very impressive feat from San Jose’s authority. Market St in SF feels more pleasant to me.
