Having not been to San Francisco in over 30 years, I was so pleasantly surprised to see this more modern and updated part of town with space between the buildings and homes instead of the typical dilapidated and dense parts of old San Francisco…
What a gorgeous Park along the channel with contemporary condos, restaurants, coffee shops and galleries. This was my favorite part of town
The dogs are great and the people are great. However, I think that this dog park stinks so bad. I don’t think anybody cleans the turf, so you’re just getting urine and poo smells on the dog’s paws and your shoes. It smells so bad that when you reach 30 ft of the park you can smell it.

Channel Street Dog Park is everything you want in an off-leash paradise. Super friendly people, well-socialized dogs, no issues at all. It’s extremely clean, has plenty of space, perfect grass, and just the right amount of sunshine. Lighting’s great, parking’s easy, and there were tons of happy pups to play with. Honestly? One of the best dog parks I’ve ever been to.

Clean Dog Park and it’s pretty secure with plenty of parking spots if looking for parking. However, my pup enjoys open spaces more so we just spend 10 mins here.
