Berry Street Dog Park, located at 451 Berry Street in San Francisco, California, offers a secure and spacious environment for dogs to play and socialize off-leash. This well-maintained dog park stands out thanks to its ample fenced area, easy accessibility from nearby neighborhoods, and double-gated entrances to ensure every pup’s safety. A combination of gravel, tree islands, and a turf grass section provides varied textures for dogs to enjoy, making it a favorite spot for both local residents and visitors looking for a fun, pet-friendly destination in San Francisco.
Visitors will appreciate thoughtful amenities such as plentiful benches under shaded areas, multiple waste bins, and poop bag stations at both entrances to keep the park clean and comfortable. Dogs can stay hydrated at the water fountain located on the grassy side of the park. Berry Street Dog Park is described as quieter than other nearby options, making it ideal for dog owners who prefer a more relaxed and safe environment. Accessibility is excellent, including wheelchair access and plenty of space for active pups to roam.
Nice fenced off leash dog park. Visiting from out of town and it was a nice walk to the park and Xandra had a great time.
Very good dog park just a few minutes away from various neighborhoods. There are poop bags and trash cans near either entrance. Inside there are tree islands in between gravel and a grass area in the back. There are also two benches with tables and 3 benches without tables. On the grass portion is the dog water. The maintenance is adequate and in my experience the dogs brought here are active and friendly.
Well maintained dog park. Bigger than the nearby one on Channel Street. The few times I’ve gone there it’s been pretty quiet – not overwhelming due to lots of other dogs. Has waste bags, a good water fountain, and lots of benches for sitting.
Huge space for dogs to roam. Fenced and clean. They have plastic bags as well to pick up the stool. There’s places to sit with shade. And plenty of garbage cans to throw out garbage. The dogs seem to be really happy here. It also seems like a safe area to walk your dogs.
Great dog park.
Most of it has gravel/little rocks on the ground, but there is also a little section of fake grass (turf).
Two entrances, both with a double gate system to keep off leash dogs safe.
There are a few benches to sit and watch while your dog plays.
Poop bag dispenses at both entrances in case you forget your own.
