It’s a good playground. The floor covering was torn in some places. There are gazebos, exercise equipment, and a basketball court on site.

Las Palmas Park is part of the soul of San Fernando. The park building is top-notch, and the staff is exceptional. The outdoor facilities are in good repair, including the baseball fields, playground equipment and picnic area. At one point called “the most dangerous park in America” by Time Magazine – which it never was! – it is home to so many memorable events that have taken place there over the years. Come visit. You’ll feel right at home!

We played a school softball game here in the early weekday afternoon. The baseball fields are well kept. The bathrooms were open. There’s plenty of shade to sit and watch the games. There are also picnic tables with benches available. Also water drinking fountain located by the fields.

The baseball fields are nice but they really need to clean the restroom 😝
