We dry camp in the Quartzite area every January and after a few weeks camping out in the desert we like to spend a few days at Desert Gold. Paved roads and gravel sites so not much dust, salt water spa and pool, and a good laundry room. This place picks up your trash every morning and will take your propane tanks, fill them and drop them off. Many full time here and they allow customization of your site with sheds, garages, pavers, pretty much whatever you want as long as you remove it when you leave. I recommend this park.

Found this place last minute and it is a gem. Office staff were very nice. We asked about Jeep 4×4 trails nearby and we had several folks go out of their way to help us and even offered to take us out on a ride. If we are ever in this area we will definitely stay again.

This was our third G7 resort and like the other two we were impressed with how friendly everyone was (staff + residents) as well as the good value, wide roads, and ease of check in. The sites and roads are big rig friendly (we have a 45 ft toy hauler and had plenty of room to put our back patio out). The residents seem like a true community and were very welcoming. Great areas for walking our dog in the natural area outside the park. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone!! This place is Fabulous!!! Large warm salt pool & great sized hot pool with bubbles & colored lights. Many fun events & activities. Dog park & off leash area. Garbage & propane tank service on site. Mail room, 18 hole putt putt course. Driving range & Shooting range. Many trails nearby for hiking or off-roading. Small store & 2 Cafes nearby. 15 – 20 minutes to Quartzite. Paved roads for bike riding & less dust. Super friendly people. We’ll be back!

What an unexpected experience. This RV park is also home to several hundred sites with many cute park models. The sites reserved for short term RV stays are very spacious and mostly sunny, and well maintained. The residents are very welcoming and friendly. Many of them ride by in their golf carts or quads. The community hosts many activities and we were fortunate to stay 2 nights over their car show weekend in March. They had about 25 car entries, Live music, food and craft sale. We had a blast. The park staff were very kind and they provide trash pickup service every morning. The location of the park makes for quiet and starry nights. There’s a restaurant across the street and a little deli/grocery store just down the other way called Bucaroos if you need any staples. For those wanting to stay awhile and explore, Parker, Quartzsite and other adventures await. If you don’t have an RV, they have some rental park models available. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
