Nice place to fish and launch a boat
I live in Sale Creek and have since 93 I’m a tax paying citizen and I can’t even rent a spot at Browns Bridge every spot is taking and they all live there year-round it’s not fair to the people in the community and something needs to be done about it I feel like the people who live here in Sale Creek should be able to rent a spot in our own campground that we pay taxes towards plan and simple. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
Nice, quiet place to relax and get some sun
Beautiful spot. Easy access to boat launch and swimming area. Campsites have hookups for water and electric. Dumping Station on-site. Pumping Service offered once a week for nominal fee.
Quiet, peaceful, well-managed. Highly recommend.
First time camping here, I was out on July 3rd looking for a place to camp. I knew it was last minute and that my chances of finding a spot were pretty slim but I pulled in on a whim and walked up to the manager’s residence half expecting an “are you kidding me get out of here” attitude but what I got was completely the opposite. Not only did they have a cancellation that I was able to get but the manager was very helpful and friendly, he even stopped by for a quick chat the next morning. Although it is not air conditioned, the restroom / bath house is well kept. I would like to see more trees in the campground so that there would be more shade around the campsites and less resident campers who can stay for 11-1/2 months before having to leave so there is not a lot of opportunity to secure a waterfront campsite.
