We did 5 miles,
Great trail !
Nice size parking lot,
Plenty of benches to take a break !
It’s a nice, paved trail through the woods. I train on this trail quite often.
Ride this trail at least once or twice every season along with our other favorites. Most likely will come back in a couple of weeks if weather allows. The colors should be better then . Love the scenic country side with a tunnel of trees.
Nice! Trail is mostly wooded, with some agricultural areas and homes here and there. Very well maintained, asphalt and facilities in better condition than the Pere Marquette trail, my ” hometown” trail. Easy ride, mostly shaded with almost no elevation change. Great family trail. You may notice Virginia Creeper growing along the trail, which has a resemblance to poison ivy. It is an irritant, but not nearly as hazardous as poison ivy. Modern and well maintained bathrooms at trailhead, paved parking lot. I was impressed.
This is a very nice rail trail that can be used all year around. It is peaceful, the path is in great condition, and it is lengthy enough to be used for biking and other types of activity. Highly recommended in the Fall time, but Summer is nice too. ☀️
