Deindorfer Woods Park

Deindorfer Woods Park is a longstanding natural area in Saginaw featuring nice walking and hiking trails, accessible entrances and parking for wheelchairs, and picnic tables. It is a kid-friendly location with a rich history of recreational use, including themed play equipment and biking trails, though some park space has been reduced due to hospital expansions nearby. The park provides a good spot for outdoor activities and a natural retreat adjacent to the VA doctor building.

Pretty good park. Had walking trails I want to look at. But it’s great if you are waiting for someone at the VA doctor building next door!!
This place is very cool I grew up in this little patch of woods in saginaw so I have seen it change alot over the years it was alot bigger until the hospital took most of it for a parking lot there used to be a baseball diamond in the back bit the hospital took it for a parking lot. Guess that was more important then kids in the community having some fun Go Figure…..
Use to go there as a kid back in 80’s, was a lot of fun. I remember they had Wizard of Oz themed swing sets. There use to be BMX trails behind it, we called Devils Trails and would ride on em all day! I think the VA tore the trails down for a parking lot. Alot of memories there as a kid!
Been going here since I was young 40 years still have nice walking trails. The only thing I wish is that the hospital wouldn’t have taken so much of the park when they had 2 huge lots to the east to use. Those hospitals always mess GOOD THINGS UP. Instead of helping make the park nice they just cut it in half that’s a shame …
Great place to Pokemon go
