Avon Park is a beloved community destination in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, featuring open green spaces and a pet-friendly atmosphere. While not a dedicated dog park, the park offers a welcoming environment where dog owners can stroll along open fields and enjoy casual playtime with their pups. Although there are no fenced or designated off-leash areas, it’s a pleasant spot for leashed walks and outdoor fun amidst local wildlife like bunnies.
The park includes a variety of amenities for families and pet owners alike, such as a playground, baseball field, and basketball courts. Visitors will find plenty of opportunities for relaxation, with benches available and space to have a picnic or watch the kids play. Do note that after rain, the park may get muddy and there are limited paved paths, so plan accordingly for your outing.
Went for a walk here, nice and open.
Not so great if it just rained though as it’ll be very muddy and there’s not really any concrete paths to walk on
I do tend to like going to this park and playing whiffle ball or a pickup game of basketball the swings are nice and is a great place
I love this park there is a baseball field, a basketball court and a playground. You’ll encounter lots of bunnies. You can kick a ball around, play with chalk on the cement, have a picnic, or just sit on a bench while the kids play. Sometimes the kids ride bike and skate or hoover board on the court too.
