FAQ for Sutter’s Landing Dog Park in Sacramento California:
Some mixed reviews here and I don’t know why. This is a great dog park compared to many I’ve seen. Loads of space and loads of dogs with really nice people. And there is shade if you want it.
Pretty kid friendly but not the best cleanliness could use some help but overall beautiful
Awesome place to bring dogs big and small. Lots of parking.
Okay dog pen. Designed in the “prison exercise area” aesthetic with little shade or green. Sadly, they use concord grapes for the perimeter landscaping which are poisonous to dogs. So in all, a sad effort at a dog park which I am sure cost a lot of money but for all the money and effort could be so much nicer. Don’t let you dogs eat the low hanging grapes or dried grapes (raisins) that fall on the ground.
IT IS a great dog park. I used to take my small service dog there. Now I have a larger dog and he is too reactive.
They have two parks on small and big. I appreciate how there’s lots of space for both kinds of dogs alike. Wish there was better shade. Unfortunately there’s not much
