If you’re looking for a spacious, well-equipped dog park in Sacramento, North Natomas Regional Dog Park is a local favorite for both dogs and their owners. Situated in the Natomas neighborhood, this park offers multiple fenced areas including dedicated spaces for small dogs and large breeds, ensuring a safe play environment. There’s plenty of open, grassy room for dogs to run at full speed, pet-friendly walking paths around the park, and a welcoming community vibe.
Standout amenities include agility equipment in all dog sections, covered benches for seating, multiple water fountains at dog height, and even a kiddie pool for small dogs to splash around. The park is praised for its cleanliness, regular maintenance, and the thoughtful addition of waste stations with pooper scoopers. While shade is limited on hotter days, owners appreciate the generous space and the park’s easy accessibility from multiple entrances. If you’re searching for dog-friendly parks or off-leash adventures in Sacramento, North Natomas Regional Dog Park is definitely worth a visit.
Wow, this dog park is awesome. There are different separate sections of this. Dog park including a separate sections for a small dogs and large dogs.
There are fun obstacles for the dogs to play on and plenty of drinking fountains. Four the dogs and their owners. There is also covered areas with benches where proud owners can watch their dogs romp and play.
Walking was great. It is pretty much sun, so go early and have water.
Very large dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. Pooper scooper was there for use instead of bags which was a nice touch. Lots of space in each fenced area plus an even larger field in the back with nice green grass. Multiple entrances to access the park from different sides and different areas. Water fountains for the doggos and even a kiddie pool. Definitely one of the nicest dog parks I’ve ever been to.
There’s a great community of dogs and owners visiting here. 3 sections for dog play and exercise, including agility equipment in all sections. Also lots of walking paths, in and around the park. Only complaint is… not enough shade and benches in dog area.
This dog park is great. We have two small dogs that love the small dog area. The park also has a large dog park area. The drinking fountains have a dog level fountains. The small dog park even has a plastic small pool. If you have dogs they will love coming to this park.
