Really good place to bring your dog and let your dog socialize with other dogs. Most of the dog owners are really nice and friendly. Just a good place to meet up.

To be really honest, I’ve lived in Sacramento for over 30 years, and Howe Park has been a “No Go,” not the best part of town, so I’d never come here. But my wife had a doctor’s appointment close, so I decided to check out the dog park I never knew it had.
It’s old and not well maintained. That said, i had a very nice time there. I ha e 2 large cane corsos that are very well socialized and well behaved. They had an absolutely wonderful time playing with 4 tiny little dogs. All the dogs we’re very good and the people we’re very nice.
I’ll surely be back when im in the area. But still, please be mindful of your surroundings. That area is a bit sketchy.

Low traffic and low activity going on at this park. The dog park could use some updates. Seems like it’s been forgotten about. There’s no up keeping. I would return but it’s not my favorite dog park. This park is huge and needs some huge improvements. Water fountains near dog park are broken.
