Once you get to the quarry it’s the best place to smoke weed at. It so beautiful it’s like you In a different world. And the fish will be right beside you. I guess because there so used to people feeding them but it felt magical being there.

This was a nice hike – we finally made it to the quarry, which was a cool destination. Lots of hiking along creek/streams which is always nice and if your into it the mushrooms (chanterelle/ milk caps) were popping!

There is an old, beautiful rock quarry on the east walk. I used to sit on the top of a big boulder to eat my snacks when younger. I met a 95 year old gentleman who told me stories of his out west Grand Canyon hikes with his wive when younger and more. WOW!!!!!!

Trails are pretty clearly marked but there are sections that need blazed again. A pretty hike with a few creeks to cross. The quarry at the end is quite relaxing, the fish seem to be well fed as they swim up to you when you get to the waters edge. Also there is a picnic table at the trail head and one at the quarry as well.
The first loop, if you stay to the right is a pretty decent hike. If you go to the left it is a lot of elevation gain in a short distance.
