Rated easy due to being mostly flat. But watch out for tree roots and other obstacles. Occasionally, trees fall across the trail

Very short trail without much of a view (more of a swamp than a lake most of the year), although there is a sort of “unofficial” (very narrow) trail that goes around the lake and around to another neighborhood. Supposedly a great area for bird watching though!

Avi Ginsberg

Great place for an easy hike along the water. Trails are reasonably well-maintained. Google map of the trails is accurate.

Really nice, secluded trails around a lake. Not the best in Maryland, but definitely clean and the people in the area were very respectful of others. Lots of people socially distanced. The majority were wearing masks.

A gem (in this case, more of a green emerald) right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The trail doesn’t skirt the lake too much (but still provides some great views) but goes into the woods for a very pleasant and easy hike which makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the wilderness.
