Meadow Ridge Park is a scenic, pet-friendly destination located in Rumson, New Jersey, ideal for dog owners seeking a beautiful spot for a walk or jog with their furry friends. This neighborhood park features a wooded perimeter walking trail, making it a favorite for dog walking, jogging, and enjoying the outdoors. The trail offers a relaxing loop starting at the parking lot and connects to the Fair Haven Fields Natural area for those wanting an extended hike. Visitors frequently praise Meadow Ridge Park for its cleanliness, natural beauty, and the peaceful ambiance, making it a wonderful place to explore with your dog.
Known for being well-maintained and attractive, the park’s wooded paths provide plenty of shade and a pleasant environment for people and pets alike. While the park is largely utilized for dog-friendly hiking and leisurely walks, it does not have specialized fenced off-leash areas or agility equipment. Parking is convenient at the lot, but restrooms are sometimes closed. Meadow Ridge Park remains an excellent option for locals and visitors looking for a pet-friendly place to enjoy the outdoors in the Rumson area.
Review is for walking trail around park’s perimeter. You can start walking the trail from the parking lot and make loop in about 20 mins. I would suggest to cross over to Fair Haven Fields Natural area to get more mileage for your hike.
Good place for a jog. Nice dirt track. Clean bathrooms.
One of my favorite places to walk…but…the restrooms are closed…have to use the outdoor ones….
Our granddaughter loves it and that’s good enough for me. Always clean and attractive.
Beautiful park, lucky to have in town. Wonderful wooded path for walking/running.
