The park offers a natural setting with leafy areas especially in the fall and trails nearby at Hunts Mill, providing a pleasant environment for dogs and their owners. While generally clean and with friendly visitors, amenities like water fountains and poop bag dispensers may be limited or empty, so visitors should come prepared. Parking is available but may be limited.

One of my favorite areas for my dog and me. The Hunts Mills is truly amazing.

Nice little dog park near Hunt’s Mill. Also plenty of trails throughout the woods

There was mulch for the ground, which wasn’t too bad. There was a bucket of tennis balls, that was nice, and a tube for the dogs to climb in and on

Took me several attempts to find this! The directions say to use Westwood Ave, which is residential. Navigate to Hunts Mill Rd instead, then take the fork on the right.

My dog loves it here. He’s ~30lbs and enjoys both the large and small dog parks.
• It’s never crowded, but gets a decent amount of visitors on pleasant days.
• There’s almost never toys or water onsite, so bring your own.
• Other dog parents are friendly and courteous.
• The smaller dog area is very leafy in the fall! Wear bug spray and check for ticks after visiting.
• I haven’t been to the trail yet but there it consistently gets 1-5 visitors heading there while my dog plays.

This park was a bit sad. No one present. No real parking. Grass was mostly worn down. No water, bag dispensers were empty.
That being said, it’s a fenced dog park, with separate sections for large and small dogs. It seemed mostly clean.
I hear that East Providence is actually building a new park – which might explain why this one needs some attention.
