Orzech Family Preserve

Orzech Family Preserve offers a scenic hiking experience that is especially beautiful in the off-season with good views. It is a family-friendly location with amenities like picnic tables and trails suitable for kids. The trail is well-maintained and features an easy flat rail line section with a walking bridge over a river. Dogs are allowed, but visitors should be cautious of untrained off-leash dogs in the area. Although not wheelchair accessible, it remains a popular spot for various outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, and fishing.

Beautiful trail, but a hub for dog owners with untrained off leash dogs. Be wary.
A great walk with a short walking bridge over the river. The early part of the trail is from an old rail line, so very flat and in good shape. We often go here during the months with worse weather, since the trail is in good shape.
Our fam’s favorite spot for hiking, swimming, fishing!
This is in my hometown and ever since the out of state people that have flooded here it has had some issues. Littering of dog bags and masks. Not to mention the defacing of our land trust trees right on the trail!
Glad we took the time as the trail was beautiful. Especially nice views after the leaves are gone
