Absolutely the most peaceful place you could ever go to. And the festival was nice! Had a great time!

We haven’t been up in a good while. The swings seem to have been replaced with really flimsy ones. The kids did not care for the new ones. The chains kept kinking/pinching and they are really slick. Some of the equipment looks to have seen better days. The seesaws, the wooden fort/slide and the big chair really could use some TLC. Even so, it’s still one of the best parks in WV. Kids can run and be kids without much worry. It’s safe and you don’t really have to hover over them because it’s such an open area. I wish we could come up more often.

The park was quiet and spacious. The playground equipment is quite dated but my kids seemed to enjoy themselves.

Was at the Chestnut Festival today. It was small, but I appreciate that. Just a few vendors, info on the chestnut and chestnut trees, and other amenities I didn’t attend. If you want a big festival, this isn’t the one for you. But it was nice going and trying something new!
