Super cute park. I like it because it’s not huge and more for little kids like 6 and under.

Now that I have a grandson once again at the age when a park is a popular place to visit, I have visited Shaw Park roughly four times this year. Each time I visit the grass is cut, trash cans are dumped, very little to no debris/trash floating on the property, and the playground is not full of spider webs. It’s real easy to miss so pay attention. I also appreciate the basketball court being clean (no geese poop). I am grateful to Lake County for keeping this property up and running.

This park is really fun for my son who has special needs. Seems very clean regarding trash compared to other parks. It’s right off the main road (Fairfield). Two different playgrounds to explore, 1 seems bigger than the other and the ground is all wood chips. Enough benches and a small sitting area.

Great park for 1 to 10year old kids. Has a small house to sit down when it’s sunny. A path for parents to walk and two separate playground equipment for the children. Also, a small rock climbing wall and plastic tree stumps to climb up. The only downside, there is no porter potty, but a gas station is only a street way. The parking could have more spots. Definitely worth a visit.
