I’ve been coming here for 10 years. It’s the best dog park in Dakota county. Although the prices have increased, it’s worth it. They maintain this dog park remarkably well

I took my pup here for the first time and he loved it! You can choose whether to bring your pup to the giant field to play ball and run or pick one of the multitude of wooded paths that break off into little dog trails in between the trees! Lots to adventure, and the owners/dogs at the park during our visit were all amazing! My only concern was the park has to be nearby a shooting range or something because there were loud popping noises consistently – my dog is afraid of fireworks and I could tell he was a little more reserved and anxious with those noises.

This place is great. I have had any issues with aggressive dogs and it seems everyone is really helpful and nice. Large areas for the dogs to run in. The walking trails are great and covered in wood chips so even after the rain, you don’t get super muddy.

Things to be aware of:
1. Water is NOW provided. This means no more having to bring your own!
2. Toys are technically not allowed. People will fuss at you if you bring them and it’s better you don’t. Toys cause fights.
3. In the evening (during the summer), the bats come out. They will swoop by your head.
4. Make sure YOU and your dog have tick protection.
5. They added a light for the nighttime in the main area, which is great. However, the back trails are unlit so keep that in mind if you go at night.

I have been coming here for 10 years. It is so great what the county has done to make it so pleasant to come here. I would say this is the best dog park I. All of Dakota Count. You will see why it’s worth registering $.

Its a really great dog park, with one major exception, the smell from the mulch place next door. Its not always bad, most days you can’t smell it, but there are some days its just too awful to stay at the park.

Otherwise we absolutely adore this park, we like walking through the paths in the trees and playing in the big open field.
