Rose City Park is a popular spot for families and dog owners looking for a welcoming space in the heart of Rose City, MI. Well known for its large wooden playground, pirate ship, and train, it’s a favorite for kids and adults alike. The park is wheelchair accessible, features a paved walking path along the creek, and has ample green space for picnics and relaxation. With specific amenities like barbecue grills, a pavilion, picnic tables, and public restrooms, it’s a wonderful option for gatherings and outdoor fun year-round.
While dogs are allowed at the park, the space is especially appreciated for its pet-friendly trails and open areas. Visitors mention enjoyable strolls along the creek and note the ease of bringing their pets thanks to the comfortable, well-kept paths. Shade from mature trees and the presence of water make this an enjoyable stop for those seeking a dog-friendly park in Rose City.
Still cleaning up from winter, but overall a nice park for kids to play
It was really nice. It has a huge wood park for all ages. It has a river you can play in and walking trails.
Had a great time with my boys here. Super awesome we were the only ones.
Great park and area down by the river.
Came here to run the boys down! 😁
My kids LOVE this park and so do I! There’s a pirate ship, a train, swings, slides, jungle gyms, and so much more! There’s a beautiful little paved walking path next to the park that runs along the creek, a nice pavilion, and decent restaurants.
My 10-year-old granddaughter and I truly enjoyed Rose City Park. We actually went there twice on our up north vacation. They have a small but reasonable splash pad and many amenities in the playground. If you’re close by highly recommend.
