The lake is so beautiful and super clear, they have camping sites. No sand but the clearest lake I have ever seen. I can walk into the lake and see my shoes the entire time.
Weekday mornings are especially nice as few people are at the lake & nature can be experienced. Beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and a natural minimalist trail: mixed trail surface of tree roots stones rocks grass etc ..that is very uneven for footing in stretches. Sun & shade on the trail can be buggy.
A beautiful lake with a scenic hiking trail around it. It has some basic camping sites scattered around without any facilities as well. During the warmer months it seems to get busier, but is quieter off season. It is a great place to go and enjoy an afternoon out in nature.
Nice little hike, brought 2 pups and wasn’t too rough on them. water is nice and clear, some parts of the trail are thin and Rooty, not too many people there either. Park ranger present.
A beautiful lake with clear water, clean that you can see every pebble at the bottom. Here you can fish, swim or go boating (only you need to take a boat or kayak with you). There is a foot trail around the lake for hiking. I admired the awesome views throughout the walk.
