Got lucky on an amazing drive. Nice leisurely historic drive.
The two hours bus tour was worth the price. Staff and guides were friendly but access to several areas was limited. This isn’t a typical public park with picnic tables and hiking trails, it’s an abandoned special purpose army base in need of improvements and more funding.
Really good tour. Tour guides are so nice and well-informed. They tell you all the history about the area and make sure you get to see plenty of wildlife. Definitely worth the trip.
What a fun and educational adventure… It’s an hour and a half guided bus tour through an abandoned military munitions depot with the added bonus of spotting rare white deer. An added bonus was checking out an abandoned munitions storage igloo built of concrete and having an amazing echo to it.
