Crow Hassan Dog Park is a standout destination for dog owners seeking an expansive, natural setting for their pets to roam freely in the Rogers area. Located along Crow Hassen Trail Access, this pet-friendly park offers vast open spaces and extensive dog-friendly hiking trails winding through beautifully scenic woods and prairie.
One of the park’s unique features is direct access to the Crow River, offering sandy beach areas where dogs can swim and cool off during hot Minnesota days. Unlike many parks, dogs are allowed off-leash throughout the expansive grounds, making it a favorite spot for socializing and energetic play. There are also convenient amenities such as restrooms and ample trails to suit short or long visits.
I love this dog park! It has extensive walking trails through beautiful woods and prairie and following the Crow River. In the late summer and fall, when the river is low, there is a perfect beach area for the dogs to swim. They make efforts to maintain and improve the park with stairs, erosion prevention, and a toilet.
My dog loves this place. Second best dog park in Minnesota in my opinion, would be number one if it was a little bit bigger. Has good water access and tons of friendly puppies.
Awesome & safe place to let your dogs run off leash! Also tons of dogs there to socialize your pups. We love it here
I LOVE this park for dogs. It’s so expansive and safe to let the dogs run free. The river with sand bar is great for hot days and letting the dogs cool off. I love all the different trails you can take to make your time there short or long.
There is a toilet which is great as well.
The only downside…the gun range across the road. Kind of ruins the peace and tranquility of the park.
Best Dog park I’ve been to since moving back to MN. Much larger than all other dog parks in the area and access to a river along the entire side of the park. If your dog likes the water and it’s a hot day then this is the best spot to go to, and I live closer to Minnehaha but still make the drive here.
Only major call-out is that it’s not fenced in so if your dog is prone to taking off after small critters or cars then I would say it’s not a good fit.
