Great park with hiking trails, picnic areas, cabins for rent and of course, lots of water! The visitor center was helpful for finding hiking trails and there were plenty of places to go for peace and quiet. We weren’t boating, but others were and it looked like fun.

Great park, minutes off I75, tons to do! Many families chilling by bonfires in early Spring. Just a few minutes South of the Kentucky Stateline at the City of Rocky Top TN.We reserved cabin #16, but before leaving KY we got an email indicating #16 was broken, and we were now in #20. So glad the park service is on the ball, they saved our getaway over St Patrick’s day!Cabin #20 is a historic CCC cabin, built in the early 1940s, refurbished with modern amenities yet old school charm.Nice comfortable bed, new refrigerator, stove, microwave, counter top, and well maintained. Our only 1st world issue was the bathroom was tight, like 17 inches tight, from sink to wall. Room is 35 inches wide, shower on one end, toilet on other, and sink in the middle. To get tothe toilet, you have to turn sideways and slip between sink and wall. Also, to take a shower, you have to slide in front of the sink, close the door, then access the shower. You have heard not enough room to whip a cat, this is your example for sure.Beyond that it is fantastic 👏 with outdoor grill, fire ring, chairs, and screened porch with a swing. Very nice for relaxing evening making Smores 😊

This is a very beautiful little park in Tennessee. We just stopped in for the day, and the scenery is just amazing. Even though the dam is kind of the “selling point”, there was still just so much beauty around it. The forests that you can walk through were stunning. We visited the grist mill, even though the shop was closed, and they also have a thrashing barn and a museum. I think you can swim here somewhere but I never saw the spot. We went to one of the playgrounds and ate lunch at the picnic tables and it was a very cute, beautiful area.

Great little hole in the wall bar with small beer selection and a smaller menu but good food and talented live entertainment. I was a little disappointed when the cheese curds turned out to be cheese sticks, but the steak quesadilla made up for it.Place is filled that locals on Sunday night that clearly know each other, and it’s exactly the atmosphere this Yankee is looking for on his way through town.

Jacks burger is the best burger I’ve ordered out in TN! Mac n cheese was ok. Fries were then cut and good. I’ll definitely stop here again

The food was delicious! And the service was excellent! The person working was really nice and was looking to have conversations with us while we ate. It was a clean restaurant and had amazing food.

All I can say is…try Jacks Burger with Pepper Jack cheese!! The Mac n cheese is yummy, as well! Super nice place and nice people that treat you like they’ve known you forever! That’s the kind of places we love going to! Will definitely be back…maybe buttermilk and cornbread will be on the menu lol (just kidding, but that’s good stuff!)
