Lake Sarah Regional Park stands out as one of the best dog parks in the Rockford, Minnesota area, renowned for its expansive, fenced-in off-leash areas. The park features large, natural spaces with both prairies and groves of trees, granting dogs and their owners plenty of room for exploration and exercise. Its pet-friendly trails, scenic open areas, and designated zones for both large and small dogs make it a popular destination for those seeking a dog-friendly getaway.
This dog park is especially loved for its acres of off-leash freedom, separated areas for older, frail, and small dogs, and natural shade provided by the surrounding trees. Amenities include convenient parking near the entry, picnic tables for seating, and water stations for dogs. One of my favorite lakes in the area! It’s big enough to wakeboard and mostly used by the residents that live on the lake. It’s a little green and weedy along the shore but once you get out in the middle, it’s great!
Fabulous dog park. Fenced, relatively flat, nice long walk around one loop. Our dogs love running through the brush. The entry area is close and easy from the parking area. Lots of picnic tables. Just beautiful.
Great open space for the dogs to run offleash. Nice getaway from the crowded city parks, away from the hustle and bustle of the metro area.
Love love this dog park. Probably one of the best that I’ve ever been to.
Oh The fenced in area, the large grove of trees. All the different paths and all of the different areas for the dogs too explore.
It has prairies and it has trees that open areas
Satellites for at night time with water. You can go ahead and fill and refills
Also has a fence area for older and frail dogs and small dogs
It’s literally acres and acres and your dogs can run free
Prob the best dog park I have ever been to. It’s huge!! Has area for bigger dogs, and smaller area for smaller dogs. The only down fall to this park, it can get extremely muddy on the trails. Lots of trees so that means mud stays for a while as well. If you do not mind a filthy happy doggo, this is the park for you. Ha!
