NGAL Dog Park – Off-leash Fun in Rock Spring, Georgia

NGAL Dog Park offers dog owners in Rock Spring, Georgia, a dedicated space for their pups to play off-leash and explore the scenic beauty of North Georgia. While some visitors have highlighted issues with maintenance, such as overgrown grass and rocky paths, this park remains a popular spot for locals seeking a place where dogs can run and socialize. The fenced area ensures that dogs can play safely, and there is a level of natural beauty that makes the location unique for both pets and their people.

The park does not feature separate small or large dog areas, but dogs of all sizes are welcome to enjoy the open space. Seating is available in the form of picnic tables – although they may be in poor condition – and shade can be found under the covered pavilion. Trash bins are present, though amenities like water fountains, agility equipment, or paved pathways are lacking. Parking is available near the trailhead, making access fairly straightforward for visitors traveling by car.

It’s not bad , definitely needs more things for the dogs to do there and a water spout. There is some damage to the fence but none that can let your dogs escape. The only complaint I have is the path way there is rocky but my dogs loved it lol All together a nice place to relax and let the dogs off leash to play

Actually 0 stars! First of all, couldn’t find it! Then noticed a fence way down in the woods…looked like a scene from deliverance! For a woman with her dog, which is NOT trained to kill, it’s definitely a DO NOT GO THERE kinda place!! A total waste of fence!! Great place for an abduction to happen!!

Walker county has done NOTHING to maintain it. Tall grass. The one picnic table/ seating area was rotting away. Felt very sketchy

Horrible spot for dogs to play off leash! Overgrown! The path to get to the off leash area is Rocky! Rock Spring clean it up! Don’t waste your time coming here!!! If 0 stars were an option that’s what I would have gave!

We went to this “dog park” this past Saturday for the first time. To say that is was “not well maintained” is an understatement. The dirt path to get to it is bad enough, but the park itself is overgrown with tall grass and weeds.
