Spencer Park Dog Park, conveniently located in Rock Hill, SC, is a top spot for local dog owners seeking a spacious and shaded area for their pets to get exercise and fresh air. Noted for being both wheelchair accessible and kid-friendly, this Rock Hill dog park features a large, tree-lined off-leash area where dogs can run, play, and socialize. Visitors love the balance of sun and shade provided by the trees, making it a comfortable spot for both pets and their people year-round.
Amenities at Spencer Park Dog Park include picnic tables and convenient seating, plus an accessible basketball court for some additional family fun. While the park is well-equipped with many features, some reviews note that water fountains or dog bowls may occasionally be out of service—it’s best to bring water for your furry friend. Thanks to the park’s open, long layout, both small and large dogs have plenty of room to roam, but there are not separate areas by size. Mud can be an issue after rain, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall, Spencer Park Dog Park stands out as a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a dog-friendly park in Rock Hill, South Carolina!
It stays pretty muddy at the opening. But a nice big area for dogs to run and play
It’s a very nice park but if you use the dog area don’t go after the rain and bring your own water
Great space for dogs! Tree-lined with shade and sun. However, it needs more care from the city’s management. Even so, it is the best and only public place so far to take and release dogs in Rock Hill.
Great place to take your dog. Look out for dog poop. Some people chose not to clean up. But it was overall fun for our dog.
I love this dog park! It’s shaded which is so nice! It’s very long which lets the dogs get a lot of exercise. The only negative thing was that the water didn’t work so bring water for your fur babies!
