Great little neighborhood playground. There is a little kid and big kid playground and a basketball court. There are a few benches and it was clean!
The unique play structures are designed to be accessible in stages according to a kid’s size and ability. If a child can climb a series of obstacles, they can get to the tallest slide. Harder difficulty climbing paths are built into most parts of the playground so that bigs and littles play side by side using the equipment in slightly different ways. My tall-for-his-age 1 year old can only access one set of steps and a small slide right now, but my increasingly strong three-year-old is able to do all the slides now. Plenty of benches and room for strollers to park, some boulders on the edge of the park, and a little green space for running around. There’s a basketball court here that’s very popular.
No bathrooms, no swings, and some broken equipment. Be wary of the spinner. It used to have ropes and not rotate fully. It’s not meant to go fast without anything to hold on to.
If you like birds, bring your binoculars and watch amongst the mature trees and bushes for a great variety of urban birds.
Really sweet playground space. Well shaded and much of it is fenced in (though not all). There is a basketball court separated by fence. The best part is the playground itself! There are atypical climbing structures that make for lots of fun and adventure and make the playground a good place for older kids (with a section for younger kids too!). There are benches in the shade and a picnic table nearby. No restrooms, although there is a coffee shop nearby. There’s parking on the street and behind a business nextdoor.
