Best View from a private terrace complete with benches and easy chairs, chaise lounges, barbecue pits, picnic tables, free parking, walking trails, very close to the bridge that crosses the river. Paradise. Free parking. Never had a problem here not once. Love this spot so much.
Nice upper view of the falls leading into the Genesee river. The platform has chairs as well as loungers. There is a nice pathway leading from the platform to the bridge and into old Rochester.
I kind of feel bad if I gave this anything less than three stars. Maybe I just didn’t come at the right time. The river is very murky so of course that affects the falls. The platform is nice to hangout on even on a rainy day and it’s within walking distance of the transit center which is also a plus. And a ramp for accessibility.
My daughter and I are here in Rochester on vacation and our first stop was seeing High Falls. It is a spectacular view of the city at the terrace.
Very nice and useful place for the best view of High Falls in Rochester, which is a breathtaking 96-foot waterfall on the Genesee River. The area surrounding High Falls has been revitalized, featuring historic architecture, vibrant entertainment, and waterfront attractions, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. I like the red sunbeds on the platform.
