So many wildflowers in bloom along the trail! Its beautiful!

I live locally and love this trail. It’s quite short, but it’s good for a quick walk outside. Despite its shortness, the scenery is varied with two different feeling wooded sections and the lovely ponds. It’s also a good way to get to Buckland Park from the neighborhoods along Elmwood.
I generally see a variety of wildlife when I’m on the trail and there are some interesting plants. The ponds where the old brickyard was are beautiful at sunset and have some nice historical information panels. I wish there were some panels along the trail about the habitat it has become though.
The main downsides are that there can be quite a few mosquitoes for a chunk of the year and small stones from the trail surface always end up in my sneakers for some reason. Offsetting that, if you peek in after dark in the summer, the fireflies are amazing (though the trail technically shuts at dusk).

Didn’t know this is such a beautiful trail full of wild flowers on either side. Good place for a nice walk or a bike ride.

Great little trail that has some opportunities for turtle spotting!

Lovely trail full of nature! This trail is only 0.8 miles but spills out to a lovely neighborhood on one side and is adjacent another park on the other side.
