Aberdeen Square, located at 373 Aberdeen St in Rochester, New York, is an open green space perfect for dog owners looking for a welcoming spot to walk and play with their furry friends. While it may not offer traditional dog park amenities like fencing, benches, or water stations, its charm lies in its open field setup and vibrant community atmosphere. Locals appreciate the accessible, dog-friendly environment and the memorable experiences it has provided over the years.

Visitors can enjoy pet-friendly walks, community events, and the occasional festival or fair with restrooms available during larger gatherings. Though amenities are limited, the community spirit, open layout, and historical character make Aberdeen Square a standout choice among dog parks in Rochester, NY.
Having a great time at the 2018 Square Fair
No amenities.. no benches.. no shelters.. no garbage cans… but you know what? it doesn’t matter to me. What it lacks in the aforementioned things, it makes up with memories and it’s own personality. A major part of my childhood and life in general.
It’s an open field to do whatever you like. Excellent spot to walk and play with dogs. Just wish dog owners were more respectfully and pick up their dogs ‘mess’.
Excellent, energized, lots of good people, variety of merchandise for sale, good vibes, safe, clean 19ward well represented. Beautiful houses. Rest rooms available
Perfectly perfect!
Here for 1st time, all day primarily to register voters for upcoming MAYORAL and City Council Primary.
It was very well attended. Consisting of a nice crowd, great food vendors, decent parking, information booths, and ample security. The school was even open to allow exceptionally clean bathroom visits.
It was also excellent to see Mayor Malik, “the people’s person” + other many oth candidates & political leaders. The parade among all other events was pretty nice. Especially the dance performances and LIVE music. The last band, MAGNETIC FLOW was phenomenal! They are highly professional in musical talents! They played all my favorite “ol skool” jams & then some, getting the crowd on their feet. We immensely enjoyed ourselves and couldn’t sit down! Overall, I have to say that I plan to attend this again next year. Bravo!
