Great trail system!
Well maintained and a good mix of technical and flow. There are multiple trail options and levels where you can advance your skills; from rocks/roots, drops, and jumps.
Also, there is a fee to get into the metro park but plenty to do and many facilities.
Had a great time here . Good outdoors space for almost any sport activities
This is the best example of mountain biking outside of Michigan. Every climb is rewarded with a short but fun little downhill with small jumps for poping some air. The Pines jump line is well done, and it is a great line to develop your timing and skill for riding outside of Michigan. No 30-foot table tops here. However, you can build confidence. The Back-9 jump line should be re-done. This line would be perfect for a big table top out of the right hand drop-in that would set you up for a nice fast left hand bend with a 3 foot step up. If they ever get the funding, they have a huge opportunity to add a full-length downhill run going south off of Sheldon Hill that could extend to the old east/west mid trail that you could take back to the Pines. Or extend to the southern most end, allowing a return to the Pines. Enjoy..
We were on the sledding hill. Took the kids. A little icy under snow. We were the only ones at the time. Great time.
